Project Description

The Fargo National Veterans Burial Ground stands as a testament to both reverence and practicality. Designed as a rural National Cemetery, the project incorporates a master plan encompassing over 5,800 gravesites on a sprawling five-acre plot. This ensures the cemetery's ability to serve the community for the next 20 years.

The Phase 1 development prioritizes both aesthetics and functionality. Pre-placed crypts and columbaria niches offer dignified burial options, while the memorial wall serves as a place for respectful remembrance. The committal service shelter and flag assembly area provide designated spaces for honoring fallen veterans, and the sustainable irrigation system utilizing stormwater runoff reflects a thoughtful approach to environmental responsibility. This thoughtful design ensures the Fargo National Veterans Burial Ground serves not only as a final resting place but also as a place for reflection and remembrance for generations to come.
